Students Creative Thinking Ability with Reflective Cognitive Style on The Phytagoras Theorem

Mathematics is a universal science that cannot be separated from human life. has an important role in supporting the development of and technology. In learning mathematics, students' creativity needed because mathematics students are expected to able come up with new creative ideas analyzing solving problems. The way solve problems will different according their cognitive style. So differences styles can trigger thinking. type research used this qualitative descriptive method. subjects study were class VIII K at SMP Negeri 2 Balaraja who had received Pythagorean theorem material. Subject selection was done by purposive sampling technique. instruments test non-test instruments. instrument Matching Familiar Figures Test (MFFT) sheet thinking ability. While interview guide. data analysis constant comparative Data carried out through three stages, namely: 1) reduction, (2) presentation, (3) drawing conclusions.Based on results discussion been presented, it concluded based reflective style, mathematical abilities grouped into groups each indicator abilities.
